My primary research is centered around photo-induced magnetic responses, photo-catalysis, optical-vortex pattern formation, and photo-induced self-assembly. I am also interested in the complex photo-induced energetics of nanofluids.
This research aids the design and development of next-generation solar cells, organic electronics, and energy-harvesting technologies, and is moreover applicable to the "bottom-up" synthesis of nanomaterials. Our studies are also relevant to the soft-matter nonequilibrium nucleation dynamics that are observed in a wide range of phenomena, not limited to physics.
